Everest Painters is a painting and decorating business based at Lake Hāwea, serving Wānaka and the wider Upper Clutha. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 2020.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your say-so.
We share information only where it is needed to do the job or run the business — for example a paint supplier tinting your colour, an accountant or bookkeeper, or a subcontractor engaged with your knowledge for a specific part of the work. Those parties are expected to keep your information confidential.
This site embeds a Google Map so you can find us, and links out to Google, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. When you use those, the relevant provider's own privacy policy applies. There are no forms on this site — contact happens through the phone and email buttons, which open your own phone or email app.
Quotes, job notes and invoices are kept on password-protected devices and reputable cloud services. We keep information only as long as it is needed for the job and for the period required by tax and business record-keeping rules.
We may photograph completed work for our portfolio or social media. We do not publish your name or address alongside those photos, and if you would rather we did not photograph your property at all, just tell us.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Get in touch and we will sort it out.
